A Dream or Reality
StackPride365 isn’t a reality yet. Sure, I’m keeping an eye out for a side gig, but my focus is on a permanent position.
When the day comes that I’m ready, the dream is to create StackPride365 a consulting firm in IT operations that puts inclusion first. A company that truly lives its values and isn’t afraid to speak up. In the meantime, I’ll use StackPride365 as a platform for a blog, to build my portfolio, and to take on smaller gigs on the side.
If the right opportunity comes along and my gut says yes, who knows what might happen.
All the content for StackPride365 will be rewritten in my own words (apart from the blog, which is already personal). It’s a parallel project alongside the Microsoft 365 project—where I’m spending most of my time and energy. You can read more about that in the next post. It’s also important to me to do this in Swedish, since there are almost no Swedish tech blogs, especially on 365. Of course, all content will also be available in English, but you’ve never seen a blog like this before
StackPride365 Gigs?
So what gigs are of interest,
Right now anything can be interesting, but I’m placing most of my focus on MS365 assignments that can be done alongside a full-time role. If you have a smaller company and need support now and then and it’s usually not urgent you would be my perfect client.
If the right full-time opportunity comes along, I’ll certainly throw my name in the ring, but that’s not my focus.
So, what kinds of assignments am I interested in going forward:
Microsoft 365 – most things within the Microsoft 365 admin suite and endpoint management
Support and support processes
IT projects
System admin assignments
System ownership within Microsoft 365
License review and recommendation
IT operations
Short, long, and everything in between
Values
StackPride365 will be a values-driven consulting company that means if we see something, we say it.
We stand up proudly for LGBTQ+ rights and dare to speak up in a constructive way directly. We stand for DEI and we do it for real. It’s not just a nice word but our reality.
The focus will be to become sufficiently profitable to afford to hire more LGBTQ+ people as well as allies who stand strong.
The focus will be on collaborating with the organizations and companies that stand behind behind the same things.
At first, however, we might only connect consultants to our network, but we will demand equal hourly pay.
Trans women in the consulting industry generally have worse pay, statistics indicate.
That should of course be counteracted.
But please read the next post about the Microsoft 365 project itself,
There will of course also be posts about news in the Microsoft 365 world.
